Maximizing Your Resources

In Capacity Planning users can compare planned and scheduled labour and machine resources, which assists with load planning. With this module you can maximize the use of plant facilities and your human resources.

Load Planning

To initiate load planning you supply the system with data pertaining to existing and planned jobs. There are no limits on the due dates for the jobs you load into the system. DYNAMIC 3i produces on-line detail or summary load reports, by week, showing the normal production capacity for product cost centres. It compares available capacity to that required for production.

Reporting

From a weekly load analysis the system generates reports regarding individual product cost centres. Overloading and underloading can be presented graphically, for an unlimited amount in the future. When there are capacity overloads, one may use the system's job- rescheduling capabilities to revise the master production schedule. You also have the option of eliminating overloads by re-working start dates through finite loading. The job rescheduling program with optional finite loading alleviates artificial backlogs through forward scheduling of jobs.

Lead Time Inquiry

Lead time inquiry provides information on:

• lead time to manufacture the product
• labour allocation
• jobs released through the Requirements Planning module
• planned jobs.
